cowboy truth rides smStory facing us all TODAY!

Ma name is 'Dusty' ~ and partner,we got a story to tell . .

Just like what's happen right now —  this story is a test from the Almighty.

It all started when I heard a whopping loud noise just outside and went out to see what was going on.

There was a dark cloud all around and a fierce wind, liked to blow me down (or blow me up?), hard enough to skin the bark off a mesquite tree.

The sky was black as the inside of a pitch pot. People running around every where.

I thought, “Hey! Them buzzards are circling around very slow like.”

Whoa! Hold your horses boy. Them ain’t buzzards. Them’s drones (you know, like you play with — ONLY BIGGER!)

Fires breaking out everywhere. Folks was all hurtin’ somethin’ fierce. There was a lady covered in mud, holding her little boy — not moving at all. No doc for miles around.

There was an ‘ole boy got his leg tore up by a shot gun, looked like he was plum out of his mind.

Nothing to eat or drank. No food. No water. Not even a drop. No chickens running around. Guess they run off too.

Creek was dry as a bone. No fish, not even a frog - Heck, there’s not even a fly or a bug.

Ain’t gonna lie — my ole ears were hurtin’ from all the expositions going off, my eyes were a’swelling up from the smoke - bombs going off, louder than thunder and lit up ever thing brighter than day.

My ole horse was long gone, too!

WHOA — It don’t make sense to get mad at God - No sir-ree! I keep remembering somethin’ I heard from a Moslem guy.

He said, “There’s no storm or flood or army, that Allah didn’t allow to come to you. He sends if for a reason. Maybe we don’t the reason — but it’s all a part of our purpose, here on this planet.”

“You see,” he told me, “God Almighty (Allah) has put each of us here for a while then we die and he brings us back to life. And then He already knows what we did with our time and resources He gave us.”

cowboy sayins 500I was a’looking for signs of His Mercy — some food, or medicine — Heck, just a glass or even a sip of water.

And then, I saw a stranger walking and lookin’ at all damage, the folks, a’hurting, crying, and even some dying.

He, weren’t no doctor, weren’t no angel, just a fella with a little jug of water and a handful o’ cornmeal.

Said he heard tell of our trouble and rushed over as soon as he was able and wanted to help.

And — help he did. Helped patch up folks who needed it and bury those who didn’t make it. Helped build back some of the places so we could get out of the rain. Showed me how to recycle water through layers of fabric.

He didn’t fix everything — but he fixed our attitudes and reminded us WHO really runs this universe.

He said something like, “When you can’t see the trail, you gotta just trust the Almighty. Keep trying, slow and sure. He’s always there — even it He’s allowing the dust to fly for a while.

And he mentioned something from the KO-RAN:

📖
Surah Al Mulk ReciteQuran.com/67:2

"He is the One Who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deeds."

✅ This tells us even life and death are all part of the test. YUP!

📖
Surah Al-Baqarah ReciteQuran.com/2:155

"We will certainly test you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth, lives, and fruits. But give good news to the patient."

✅ Trials all around: fear, hunger, sickness, and death —  Like I said.

📖
Surah Al-Ankabut ReciteQuran.com/29:2 -3

(2) "Do folks think they will be left alone after saying 'We believe' without being tested? Indeed, We tested those before them.

(3) And Allah will certainly make known those who are truthful, and He will certainly make known the liars."

✅ Faith always comes with tests — There's no free ride.

So, never give up, my friend - NO MATTER WHAT! Hang in there!

“Even in the worst of times — there’s always hope under them dry rocks . . and a reason behind every hard wind.”

BOTTOM LINE: Life in this world is a TEST!

“Dust don’t mean the trail’s gone — it just means the journey’s not over yet.”

Keep your prayers strong,

                 and your faith stronger.
