I found a story of Islam* and Muslims** from all over going to the mosque (masjid) to attend a funeral (janazah) and wanted to share it with you.
"We were in the mosque for Friday prayer and we had been told about funeral prayer for a Muslim from Asia, in his 60’s, but he wasn’t known to us.
That afternoon, the masjid was packed with Muslims. All of them were known to each other. Only a couple of people came who we didn’t know.
We just heard about the janazah and came to pray and give a Muslim his rights. We didn’t even know the person, but we were doing the steps of the janazah."
These are the actions taken by good Muslims everywhere after a Muslim dies
1. Line up in a masjid, stand for prayers
2. Carry the body to the hearse
3. Follow the leader to the cemetery
4. Carry the body to the grave
5. Say prayers for him
6. Lower the body into the grave
7. Turn the body on the right side
8. Pick up dirt and place it on the grave
9. Say prayers to Allah for the person
We don't know about how he lived or he died. We came because it was the rights of any Muslims to be buried as such, after passing away.
Turns out the two people were from Asia, were taking pictures and recordings of the crowd and the grave, to show there family in Asia, he was buried in Islam.

This really fills my heart with love for our faith of Almight God, Allah. He alone, is the One we trust.

Muslim funeral (Janazah), is wash and shourd the body; taken to a masjid for special prayers; prompt burial (in 24 hours) No casket; no viewing; no wake. Mourners gather at the famely's home.
