1. O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu, itaqa Allaha haqa tuqatihi wala tamutunna illa wa antum muslimeen.

يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُوااتَّقُوااللَّهَحَقَّتُقَاتِهِوَلَاتَمُوتُنَّإِلَّاوَأَنتُممُّسْلِمُونَ

2. O you who believe, fulfill your promises.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu, awfu bil‘ahd
يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُواأَوْفُوابِالْعَهْدِ

3. O you who believe, do not kill game while in a state of ihram.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu, laa taqtulu asayda wa antum hurum
يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُوالَاتَقْتُلُواالصَّيْدَوَأَنتُمْحُرُمٌ

4. O you who believe, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu,ista-jeebu lillahi wali rasuli itha da’akum lima yuhyiekum

يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُوااسْتَجِيبُوالِلَّهِوَلِلرَّسُولِإِذَادَعَاكُمْلِمَايُحْيِيكُمْ

5. O you who believe, avoid much suspicion; indeed some suspicion is sin. Do not spy or backbite one another.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu, ijtanibu katheeran mina aththanni inna ba‘da athani ithmun wala tajasasu wala yaghtab ba‘dukum ba‘da
يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُوااجْتَنِبُواكَثِيرًامِّنَالظَّنِّإِنَّبَعْضَالظَّنِّإِثْمٌوَلَاتَجَسَّسُواوَلَايَغْتَببَّعْضُكُمبَعْضًا

6. O you who believe, persevere in patience and prayer, for Allah does not let the reward of the righteous be lost.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu, isbiru wa sallu inna Allaha laa yudhi‘u ajra al muhsineen
يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُوااصْبِرُواوَصَلُّواإِنَّاللَّهَلَايُضِيعُأَجْرَالْمُحْسِنِينَ

7. O you who believe, remember the favor of Allah upon you when the people planned to stretch their hands against you, but He withheld their hands from you.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu, uthkuru ni‘mata Allahi ‘alaykum ith hammat qawmun an yabsutu ilaykum aidiyahum fakafa aidiyahum ‘ankum
يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُوااذْكُرُوانِعْمَتَاللَّهِعَلَيْكُمْإِذْهَمَّقَوْمٌأَنيَبْسُطُواإِلَيْكُمْأَيْدِيَهُمْفَكَفَّأَيْدِيَهُمْعَنكُمْ

8. O you who believe, stand firmly for Allah as witnesses in justice, and do not let hatred of a people cause you to swerve from justice.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu, kunu qawa meena lillahi shuhada bilqist wala yajri manakum shananu qawmin ‘ala alla ta‘dilu
يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُواكُونُواقَوَّامِينَلِلَّهِشُهَدَاءَبِالْقِسْطِوَلَايَجْرِمَنَّكُمْشَنَآنُقَوْمٍعَلَىٰأَلَّاتَعْدِلُوا

9. O you who believe, fasting has been decreed for you until the night, so complete your fasts until sunset.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu, atimu asiyama ila allayl

يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُواأَتِمُّواالصِّيَامَإِلَىاللَّيْلِ

10. O you who believe, establish prayer, give zakah, and bow with those who bow in worship.

Yaa ayauha latheena amanu, aqimu asalat wa atu azakata warkau ma‘a araki‘een
يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُواأَقِيمُواالصَّلَاةَوَآتُواالزَّكَاةَوَارْكَعُوامَعَالرَّاكِعِينَ
