Prophets Warned Us
Allah (God) tells us, He has sent over 124,000 messengers to all nations, warning them against worshiping other than Him and calling them to be honest, sincere and obey God. This message was all the same:
Worship Allah alone, obey His commands, and prepare for the Hereafter.
Prophet Noah ﷺ:
He warned his people for 950 years, calling them to worship Allah and abandon idols. But many mocked him.
"Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, and he said: ‘O my people, worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day.’"

Prophet Hud ﷺ:
He warned the people of ‘Ad, who were powerful and arrogant, but turned away.
"And to the ‘Ad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said: ‘O my people, worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. Will you not fear Him?’"'

Prophet Salih ﷺ:
He warned the people of Thamud, who were given miracles but rejected him.
"And to the Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said: ‘O my people, worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. A clear proof has come to you from your Lord. This is the she-camel of Allah, as a sign for you. So leave her to eat within the land of Allah and do not touch her with harm, lest there seize you a painful punishment.’"

Prophet Shuayb ﷺ:
He warned the people of Madyan to stop cheating in business and to deal justly.
"And to the people of Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu‘ayb. He said: ‘O my people, worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. Do not reduce from the measure and the scale. Indeed, I see you in prosperity, but indeed, I fear for you the punishment of an all-encompassing Day.’"

Muhammad ﷺ:
Prophet Muhammad (salallahu alayhi wasalam) came with the same warning to Quraysh and to all humanity.
"Say, O mankind, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you all, [from Him] to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. There is no god except Him; He gives life and causes death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered prophet, who believes in Allah and His words, and follow him that you may be guided."

Lesson today:
The Qur’an reminds us that every people who rejected the warnings of their prophet faced destruction or punishment.
Those who obeyed were saved.
These are not just stories, but signs for people of understanding.
