Allah’s Supreme Name
The name Allah (اللّٰه) is unique.
All the other 98 Beautiful Names (al-Asmāʾ al-Ḥusnā) are attributes of Allah —
like Ar-Raḥmān (The Most Merciful), Al-ʿAlīm (The All-Knowing), Al-Ḥakīm (The All-Wise).
Allah is the proper name of the One True God.
This encompasses all of His attributes.
Quran's Proof
Allah says:
“And to Allah belong the Most Beautiful Names, so call upon Him by them…”
Note: Verse begins with Allah, then refers to His other Names.
Difference Between “Allah”
– and His Other Names
If you say Ar-Raḥmān (The Merciful), this is one attribute.
If you say Al-ʿAlīm (The All-Knowing), it's another attribute.
But when you say Allah, you are calling the Only –
ONE GOD – Who has all these qualities together.

But it is higher and greater than the rest: the personal, supreme Name of the Creator, while the other Names describe His attributes.
