Terrorist experts debate if rock throwing should be treated as "Acts of Terrorisim"

"Terrorism is any act threatening human life and is intended to coerce or intimidate civilian population", according to Paul Charlton, one-time highest prosecutor for the United States. He recently commented about attacks on interstate highway 10, saying the incidents may be acts of terrorism and prosecuted as such.

About the shootings and numerous reports of rocks being thrown at cars over past weekends, Charlton says these, "May also be considered terrorism".

Local authorities in Phoenix, Arizona are investigating these events and federal authorities are involved as well, due to this being a federally funded highway.

Charlton reportedly added, "I don't think there can be any doubt that firing projectiles at moving vehicles on the interstate is dangerous to human life and we can see that it has in fact intimidated the people of Phoenix”

When confronted with questions over the status of throwing rocks at passing cars being classified as acts of terrorism, Charlton replied, "Political movtive is not necessary", and wants to see anyone caught brought up on charges of domestic terrorism on both state and federal levels.

Others are not so sure about this latest move toward "higher security" in the U.S. Dr. Steve Corman, an expert on terrorism, is one of those. He says we should not "jump to conclusions" or "assume the worst". He tells us this could just be, "some crazy person" or even be "random shots by different people".

"Three criteria must be met for terrorism to be taken into consideration", says Dr. Corman:

  • First, a type of violent action
  • Second, sending a threatening message or intimidating people outside of those actually attacked
  • Third, must serve some type of political motive

Corman adds that up to this point, "it is unclear if these shootings stem from a political motive".

Charlton disagrees, saying the political motive is not necessary. He wants anyone responsible for these acts to face domestic terrorism charges on the state and federal levels.

IDF Kills Arab Youth Picking Up Rocks for Terrorism

The IDF killed a PA Arab who tried to pick up a rock during a riot near Jenin

IDF soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian Authority Arab overnight Tuesday during a riot in the village of Burkin, near Jenin.

Muhammad Ahmad Alawneh was picking up a rock to attack the soldiers when he was shot.

Alawneh was taken to the hospital in Jenin with a chest wound and later died of his injuries, Ynet reported.

Security sources said the riot broke out as IDF forces were arresting a wanted PA Arab fugitive in Burkin.

The soldiers also arrested 22-year-old Muhammad Ali Atiq in Burkin.
They also detained 22-year-old Yasser Ghaleb Abu Ja’afar in a separate operation in Jenin.

THE REPORTER ERRED IN REFRRING TO THE TERRORIST AS A VICTIM.
IT is those he aimed to maime as the victims.
The shooting was not enough since to rid this cancer, bulldoze his home and send his family back to Arabia or to hell where they came from!

It's about time. All rock throwers should be shot. Rocks are as deadly as bullets or arrows.
