July 26 Many Shahadahs, 27 Book Fair



July 27, All Day at International Book Fair - Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Sheik Yusuf Estes -
July 26, Main Event - Duke of Wndsor Hall - "Proof God Exists" & "Purpose of Life" (over 100 make shahadah)
July 25, schedule calls for more book fair, more talks and (hopefully, inshallah) more shahadahs.
July 24, All day workshops, lectures, book fair - new people learning about Islam - fabulous
July 23, Jummah in the main mosque - Evening talks with Dr. Mohamed Salah - "Ideal Muslim Family"
July 22 (Thurs.) It was raining on arrival here in Hong Kong and even through the rain, you could see the many glass skyscrapers everywhere."

After our meeting our Muslim brothers and sisters here and enjoying a lovely Halal meal in a local restaurant, we looked out our window from the 13th floor (no supersititions here about the number "13"?) and even in the dark - the hundreds of glass skyscrapers stood tall and noble against an amazing view of the water and mountains."

We are excited and looking forward to meething with the many organizations here and to the book fair - and millions of people who are coming for what is being billed as, "One of the largest gatherings of people in one of the most populater places on earth" (check back for updates).

"Guide US TV" – is going everywhere: New York, Ohio, Minnesota, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, California and this week in Hong Kong (inshallah).

The theme will be - Islam in Today's World - The Beauties, The Beasts!

What to expect? - Well take a look at previous exhibitions:
The Hong Kong Book Fair - had 55 different local religious groups joining in, this accounted for about 1/10th of the total number of exhibitors. There were Protestant groups, Anglicans, Methodists and Baptists together. From the Buddhists there were over 20 organizastions; eight Roman Catholic bodies and some from Taoism, Confucianism and of course, Islam.
