Yusuf Estes Gave Shahadah in Doha
Last time Yusuf Estes was at Fanar he helped Jojo Samorin to enter Islam.
Samorin said, "After 7 Years of Really Wanting to Be A Muslim" , says Jojo Samorin, finally he got to become a true Muslim. Al Hamdulillah.
Samorin says he had been planning to become a Muslim for seven years and now he is so happy at last to publicly say the words, "Ash hadu an laa elah illallah, Muhammadan Rasoolullah" (I bear witness there is none to worship except Allah, and I bear witness Muhammad is His messenger."
"These words when spoken in sincerity, are the sourse of salvation in Islam and the way to paradise", said Yusuf Estes, who was standing by along with Dr. Ibrahim Al Naimi, Chairman of the Center for Interfaith Dialogue in Doha, Qatar.
Yusuf Estes who was giving a lecture on Jesus in Islam, was on hand at the time of Jojo's decision to finally declare his belief in Allah, and he helped him to say his "shahadah".
Jojo then told the crowd of thousands he wanted to changed his name to "Yusuf". Dr. Al Naimi joined Yusuf Estes in giving shahadah (the testimony of faith) to Samorin, who mentioned he had already thought of changing his name to "Yusuf" even before meeting Yusuf Estes.
Islam is still the fastest growing, yet misunderstood religion in the world. May allah help us all, ameen.
