To our dear sisters in Islam – the 3 M.A.I.D.S. Of Deen -
Fatima, Farhana and Rashida:
Words must give way to feelings as letters on a page will not give proper expression nor will a simple note give ample equity for our thoughts and feelings regarding the experience of working alongside the MAIDS of Deen. Each of you as individuals and all of you as a team have succeeded in conveying a beautiful impression of what can be achieved by our Muslim sisters (and their S.L.A.V.E.S.*) working together for the sake of Allah's Deen.
Service both to the Deen of Allah and to the Muslims for the sake of Allah's Deen is a blessed accomplishment often discussed but seldom achieved in these times. Having been of the many who have benefited from the efforts of our MAIDS of Deen, and an eye witness to their many accomplishments taking place here in South Africa, all we can say is, “May Allah reward you all greatly, in this life and in the Hereafter, ameen.”
My wife and I have fond memories to carry with us always from the lovely experience of joining together with all of you for this grand opportunity to share Islam with the Muslims and non-Muslims living in the most southern point of one of the world's most blessed continents – South Africa.
We have felt the “barakah” of the M.A.I.D.S. Of Deen since arriving in what seems like only yesterday. Now, as we are packing for our return home, we feel as though we are leaving behind a part of us – a part from our hearts - the love for our sisters and brothers in Islam, of whom we have been working alongside for the past 17 days.
It has been both a pleasure and an honor to join together for the sake of Allah to get those Myths About Islam Dispelled Sincerely – (wink).
We pray to Allah to bring about more M.A.I.D.S. Of Deen throughout the world to enhance the dawah, remove the disunity of the Muslims everywhere and to let us work together again in this life for His Sake and grant us all the success in this life and the success in the Next Life, ameen.
