Why Can't We Hear Imams Speak on Terror?

They Do! But We Don't Them on Fox or CNN

Why We Need Our Voice in America

The real problem is
American Media Won't Let Their Voices Be Heard

By the way, after you read this document, we ask you the question: "Are you going to just sit there - or are you going to start emailing this link to everyone you know, so they can read the truth?"
- Or are you going to sit back and do nothing, just like all of the media?

And why not try visiting our websites, like this website: to learn the truth about real Islam, real Muslims - and real facts. Also: GuideUS.TV

Here is one of many documents published in the last six years where Muslim leaders, Imams, Sheiks and teachers of Islam have all spoken out and even signed these documents - in public - hoping the people will know the truth of Islam:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

[read the details

The Fiqh Council of North America wishes to reaffirm Islam's absolute condemnation of terrorism and religious extremism.

Islam strictly condemns religious extremism and the use of violence against innocent lives.

There is no justification in Islam for extremism or terrorism. Targeting civilians’ life and property through suicide bombings or any other method of attack is haram – or forbidden - and those who commit these barbaric acts are criminals, not “martyrs.”

The Qur’an, Islam’s revealed text, states: "Whoever kills a person [unjustly]…it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind."

(Qur’an, 5:32)

Prophet Muhammad said there is no excuse for committing unjust acts: "Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well you will treat them well, and that if they do wrong you will do wrong to them. Instead, accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and not to do wrong (even) if they do evil." (Al-Tirmidhi)

God mandates moderation in faith and in all aspects of life when He states in the Qur’an: “We made you to be a community of the middle way, so that (with the example of your lives) you might bear witness to the truth before all mankind.” (Qur’an, 2:143)

In another verse, God explains our duties as human beings when he says “Let there arise from among you a band of people who invite to righteousness, and enjoin good and forbid evil.” (Qur’an, 3:104)

Islam teaches us to act in a caring manner to all of God's creation. The Prophet Muhammad, who is described in the Qur’an as “a mercy to the worlds” said: “All creation is the family of God, and the person most beloved by God (is the one) who is kind and caring toward His family."

In the light of the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah we clearly and strongly state:

1. All acts of terrorism targeting civilians are haram (forbidden) in Islam.

2. It is haram for a Muslim to cooperate with any individual or group that is involved in any act of terrorism or violence.

3. It is the civic and religious duty of Muslims to cooperate with law enforcement authorities to protect the lives of all civilians.

We issue this fatwa following the guidance of our scripture, the Qur’an, and the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad – peace be upon him. We urge all people to resolve all conflicts in just and peaceful manners.

We pray for the defeat of extremism and terrorism. We pray for the safety and security of our ountry, the United States, and its people. We pray for the safety and security of all inhabitants of our planet. We pray that interfaith harmony and cooperation prevail both in the United States and all around the globe.

For crying out loud What Muslim Extremism is being talked about? I hate it when these Western words are used by our own Ulamaa.

Amir the Israeli, please shut up. It sounds like you\\\'re saying, \\\'Now that Bin Ladin is gone oh Muslims, it\\\'s time to turn a new leaf\\\'. Bin Ladin is one person with his own personal ideas and not any kind of leader to Muslims. As far as Muslims are concerned in general, there is only on side for us to take on Palestine,Quran ic side which says you\\\'re days are numbered in Quds. If you want to discuss something, discuss the thousands of Palestinian detainees be they Muslim or Christian and the disproportionat e force being used on children. This is real terrorism and a crime by the West for tolerating it and covering for your misdeeds out of some misguided guilt for the Holocaust which they, the Christian West perpetrated. Now the Jews are like the molested child who grows up to become a molester of others. Allah promises your day of account in this world and in the next. The new developments in the Muslim world are signs of a new era when the rope of men will be cut for Bani Israel, as I\\\'m sure you know well._

Hello friends__I am Israeli._My name is Amir._I write to you today, as this is the time, for you, to take leadership._Tod ay Osama B. L.finished his life._He was THE terrorist no. 1._He is not, any more, leading terrorism._You, the logic people in the Muslim world, must take this chance in your 2 hands, and navigate the Muslim world differently._Ye s, now is the time. _I can assure you that you will get a lot of support from Israel._All 3 religions came out from the same source. Why should we fight. Fight all life long._The life time is very short. We shorten it, sometimes, by our imagination._No ne set with each other to discuss the Israeli- Arab conflict. Instead, many Moslim countries, like Iran, Indonesia, joined the muslim side._There is no conflict. _Lets talk._Lets write to each other and try to establish/devel op understanding._ You look sensible. I hope that we are such as well._Please lets try???_Lets put little effort to improve this crazy world._Hope to hear from you soon.__Kind regards __In future friendship __Amir_Israel

I would like to know what unjust policies you are talking about. The United States is not perfect, but it has done far more good in this world than bad. And this comment below is way out of line. The American Government did not plan and carry out 9-11, Usama bin Laden admitted to this terror attack. The person that wrote this comment needs to get out of the conspiracy excuse world and put blame where it deserves to be. On the muslim terrorists. ____

Nowhere did I see Hamas or Hezzbalah mentioned.
Many missles fired at no one except Israelese.
#4 Shamsideen 2010-09-10 08:24
In order to condemn terrorism, we as Muslims often quote beautiful verses from Qur'an and Hadith that condemn it. But, I think where we miss the boat is in the fact that we don't tend to explain the context of verses that deal with war. Several Qur'anic verses are being quoted by non-Muslims in an incomplete way or completely out of context. They quote wartime instructions as though they are to be generalized and used in peacetime--so that there is no peacetime. We need to address that more.
#3 Talha 2010-08-22 07:43
I think that while all the imams condemn the extremism done by fellow Muslims, which is correct, it is as important for them to condemn the extremism done by america and its allies in attacking Afghanistan and Iraq and killing many many innocent Muslims. The extremism done by Muslims is by and large the reaction to the unjust policies of america and its support of Israel in the brutalization of the Palestinian people. Islam calls upon us to condemn all aggression whether done by friend or foe, and to stand against all injustices. Who will stand up to the American government and tell them of the crimes they have done, because afterall they have done more evil than any so-called Muslim AND many of the evils (such as 911) that they claim to have been done by Muslims were their own jobs which they used to frame Muslims and get excuses to attack Muslim lands. So the truth lies in exposing their lies and deception as well!! wallahualam

The news broadcasting companies are owned by either Jewish community members, big businesses, or the government. Our news is censored so that we get exactly what they want us to get and nothing more. People need to start realizing that there is more information out there, they just have to look for it. Great article, insh'Allah the trail begins here!
