From this one root, languages spread:

Both carry the idea of:
Rules, Standards, Systems
It means, in Christianity:
- Canon Law = rules of the Church
- Organized by councils, scholars, leaders
- Applied inside the institution
Structured system of religious governance

Islam Stands With The Ten Commandments
<>
What “Qanun (قانون)” means In Arabic:

Who is the Law Giver?
الله سبحانه وتعالى

Al-hukmu illa lillah
Judgment belongs only to Allah
Why this matters today
People hear:
- “law”
- “religion”
- “rules”
And think all are the same, but they are not!
Simple truth
Qanun = rules people make
Canon = rules churches organize
Shariah = guidance from God الله سبحانه وتعالى
Measure in rods / Allah guides with truth
Final Word . .
The word may travel from Greek, but . .
The source of guidance does not travel!
