Light of Allah
When a trail grows dark, a traveler needs light. Even a small light helps him see the next step.
Without light, he cannot see the path. With light, he can keep moving forward.
Allah teaches us this in the Recitation (Quran).
اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
“Allah is the Light of the heavens and earth”

This does not mean Allah is a physical light like the sun or a lamp.
It means Allah is the One who gives guidance, truth, and clarity.
Through His guidance people move from confusion and darkness into understanding and faith.
The Recitation (Quran) often describes two conditions of human life: darkness and light.
Darkness represents ignorance, doubt, injustice, and turning away from the truth.
Light represents faith, knowledge, mercy, and guidance.
Allah sends this light through His revelation.
He sent prophets with the message of worshipping Him alone.
Each prophet called people away from darkness and toward the light of truth.
Allah describes Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as a shining lamp for humanity.
وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِيرًا
“. . calling to Allah by His permission and a shining lamp.”
Through the Quran and the example of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the path becomes clear.
Faith, prayer, charity, kindness, patience, and honesty all become lamps along the road. Each good deed spreads a little more light.
A believer does not waste time complaining about darkness. Instead, he brings light.
No prophet will come after Muhammad ﷺ. The message of Islam is complete. Now the responsibility of Dawah—calling people to Allah—belongs to the believers.
So when the world feels dark, remember the simple truth:
Don’t cuss the dark . .
Get a light!
Allah’s Light gives us the Quran, the Sunnah, and the guidance of Islam.
Follow His light—
it will lead the way, inshallah.
