Bible Does NOT Say 'JESUS IS GOD'
(Muslims believe in the God of Jesus and as a prophet of God)
* * * * * * * *
Christians know: "Gospel of John, chapter 3, verse 16."
But do they know: "Luke chapter 3, verse 38"?
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son . ." Huh?
Luke: 3:38 says "the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the Son of God"?"
Adam is the 'Son of God'?

The Old Testament argues with their saying: "Gospel of John, chapter 3, verse 16."
Don't they know: "Numbers, 23:19"?
Read this to them from the Old Testament: Numbers 23:19
"God is not a man, that He should sin. And God is not the son of man, that He should repent"
-Book of Numbers, 23:19
Jesus was a man - Right? and Jesus called himself, "son of man", in the New Testament 78 times (just in Mark 12 times). Jesus called Himself "Son of Man" Right?
Question:
"How many thimes did Jesus say, he was "God" or "worship me"?
Muslims believe 100% in Words of Almighty God, in the Revealation of the ORIGINAL Bible.
Let's return to the translation of the Bible, in the book of Psalms, from David:
"I will declare the decree the Lord hath said unto me, 'Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee'."
Psalms 2:7
He is talking to his congreation, and he declares, "The Lord says to me, 'You are my son - Today I have begotten you!"
Where does this all leave us? If David is the 'begotten son of God' (and the Bible says 'ONLY BEGOTTEN') then it must not be talking about Jesus, peace be upon him. Right?
Let's look at the Old Testament verce, Genesis 6:2-6:
"The sons of God saw the daughters of men, found them to be fair and took them to wife and went in unto them. And from them came the mighty me of old, those sons of God"
Looks like Dr. Zakir Nike is right . . there are "Tons of Sons" in the Bible.
This is what got me thinking, just before accepting Islam, it is in the New Testament, in Luke, chapter 3, verse 38:
". . . was the son of Enos, who was the son of Seth, who was the son of Adam, who was the son of God."
So, Adam is the 'son of God' and David is the 'begotten son of God' and the 'sons of God' were the fathers of the mighty men of old?
Any more? Oh wait ~ We forgot Job — in the Old Testament. Let's take a peak at chapter 2 and see what's going on..
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.
[Job 2:1]
Once again, not just two or three sons - but literally 'Tons of Sons'.
After all this could there be more?
You guessed it ~ Plenty more where it came from ~ The Bible itself!
Never mind. Let’s read John 3:16, one more time:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him SHALL NOT DIE, but will have everlasting life.
[John 3:16]
I can hear the Born Again Christians at church, saying:
"You read it. I read it. We all read it!"
"If we believe in the 'Only Begotten Son' (whoever he is) we got everlasting life — We DON’T DIE!"
It says it, right there — in black and white!
No need to worry about eating healthy, or taking vitamins, or exercising, or workouts!
We got it made . . . Right?
Oh yeah! — Cancel my life insurance policy, and payments on my funeral services and grave yard plots.
‘Cause if we 'Believe' - I mean 'really believe' - We ain't gonna die, brothers and sisters — REJOICE!
Brother, I just heard a 'Hallelujah!'
Oh, wait a second — the people who died in the last 2,000 years? (they didn't believe, huh?)
But preachers? Priests? Bishops? Saints?
Even popes? They all died?
Guess they didn’t believe! Strange! Right?

This is contextual evidence, before and after the verse is the wording before and after John 3:16.
14. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: ("son of man" like a snake?)
15. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ("son of man"?)
16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (David is the "Only Begotten Son"?)
From Muslims scholars . . if you translate the word to English, to 'a son' or 'servant', this would be closer to the original meaning.
We can say only what Juesus said about himself, "Jesus is the son of man."
This came in the comments on the original posting . .
