Orthodox Jews Rally in New York Against Zionist Army Draft
NEW YORK, July 12, 2016 – PRNewswire-USNewswire/ – America's Orthodox Jewish community protested this week (Monday July 11) right in front of the Israeli Consulate office located in Manhattan, NY.
The demonstration protested State of Israel's Zionist military policy of forced draft for young religious men. Rabbinical Alliance of United States and Canada were official organizers.
1,000+ came from all over New York and New Jersey, including 90 year old Holocaust survivor, Chuna Stern, who marched along with others, in spite of needing physical support.
More than 100 prominent rabbis stood together in solidarity as others took to the microphones to voice their outrage at Zionist military activities in the Holy Land.
2 Rabbis from Jerusalem were among many other speakers who spoke out against the violation of human rights going on in Israel.
News reporters and other media members were on hand to record and report the activities.
