Help! What Do I Say to Bahai Faith?
bahai01
Answer: Just Say 'Bye-Bye Ba'hai'

We received a letter from a reader calling Muslims to the Bahai Faith. We found these teachings to be far away from what Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, brought.
May Allah save us all from deviation, ameen.
Here it is (answer follows):
Dear Sir, Allah’u’Abha,
I am writing to say that I am a member of The Bahai Faith. Bahais believe that all of the Great World Religions come from the one same God i.e.; Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Buddhists, Taoists, Jains, Confucianists,Shintoists,Rastafarians, Bahais, etc.

God sends messengers to Earth all down the ages throughout history, such as Adam, Noah, Krishna, Abraham, Moses, Zoroaster, Lao-Tzu, Gautama Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad,Guru Nanak, The Bab and Baha’u’llah.
We believe that all forms of prejudice are wrong whether Racial, Religious, Class, Patriotic, Political or Gender. The Prophet Baha’u’llah (1817-1892AD) had a vision of a  Utopian future World SuperSociety where all races and religions will live together in Peace and Harmony.
There will be no more War, Starvation, Poverty or Disease
This must come about gradually.
Baha’u’llah wrote 100 volumes giving us a blueprint for a new society. He said”Every man has been created to carry forward an ever advancing civilization”. He claimed to be the return of Christ and the messenger for this day and age, like other messengers were meant for previous epochs in history. He also spent 40 years in Prison and Exile and wrote to the Kings and Leaders of the World inviting them to help bring about the long awaited Kingdom of God on Earth and a New World Order.

He said “These fruitless strifes these ruinous wars shall pass away and The Most Great Peace  shall come”. His forerunner The Bab wrote many volumes.
The Bab was executed by firing squad.
Baha’u’llah’s  eldest Son ‘Abdu’l-Baha wrote many volumes and so did Baha’u’llah’s GreatGrandson Shoghi Effendi who died in London in 1957AD
There are now 6 Million Bahais worldwide and it is second only to Christianity in it’s geographical spread.
Bahais come from every conceivable background and are practical in their approach. It is a common sense religion..

Bahais believe in :- One God, The Oneness of Humankind, Life After Death, Independent Investigation of Truth, The Essential Harmony of Science and Religion,Extraterrestrial Life, Equality of Men and Women, Elimination of Prejudice of all Kinds, Universal Compulsory Education, Spiritual Solutions to Economic Problems, A Universal Auxiliary Language,Treading the Mystical Path with Practical Feet, Work is the Highest form of Worship, Putting it into Practice, Universal Peace Upheld by a World Government - (The NEW WORLD ORDER? - emphasis added)

The Bahai Faith is being persecuted in Iran, the land of it’s birth. 20,000 Bahais have been executed since 1844ADbahai01

Yours Sincerely

Here is a reply from www.JustAskIslam.com [Yusuf Estes is quoting from Bahai sources]

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
Peace dear friend,

Please help me to argue with someone who told me that the only receptacle that holds everything - is a trash can.
According to this person, anyone who claims to accept all religions is a fool.
He says, for instance, Christians say cannot mix some other religion with theirs. Some of them even don't accept others of Christianity, like the Catholics do not accept the Protestants and the Protestants don't accept the Catholics.
Some said, if you don't accept the "blood of Jesus sacrifice" you can't go to heaven".

Jews do not accept Jesus as a miracle birth, that he is with Allah and coming back in the Last Days, or even that he is a prophet. They also say their religion teaches people cannot be Jews unless they are born to the blood of Judah, while other Jews say only through a very strenuous process of study and months of investigation could someone be a Jew. Certainly, no one could be both at the same time.
So Jews say you have to have the blood of Judah to be saved.
Christians need Jesus blood to be saved.

Some people, like universalists claim to believe in everything. God for instance, to them, can do everything.
But according to simple logic, God would never do anything to contradict his Perfect Attributes, like being All-Knowing; All-Loving; All-Just; All-Truth and All-Living.
So, there is no way He would lie, cheat, steal or die for that matter.

Islam does not accept anybody's blood to be saved.
Islam seems to be even more clear about this. In the Quran it says there is only Allah's religion, which is submission to Him in peace on His terms. (reference: www.WhatsIslam.com and www.Islamtomorrow.com/word).
The nice things you said about peace and justice and being a good person are already in Islam anyway and Islam doesn't accept any prophet after Muhammad (read Quran, Surah Al Ahzab, chapter 33, verse 40):
"Muhammad is not the father of any of your men. But he is the final messenger of Allah and seal of the prophets".
Muhammad, peace be upon him, told everyone, there would be no new religion to come from Allah after him, and no new prophet.

While looking through the Quran, in verse 85 of chapter 3, for instance, Allah says, "Whoever desires a way (deen) other than Islam (submission to Allah), Allah will never accept it and in the Hereafter they will be with the losers (in Hell)"

Also, in chapter 3, verse 19, Allah says, "Verily, the only religion with Allah is Islam".
The prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, also denied any other religion clearly, especially the Christians and Jews once they have heard the true message of Allah, and don't accept it, they will be in the Hell-Fire.

When we tried to present your letter to some others from various faiths we received only comments like this:

"Sounds like your faith is standing upon a banana skin" - P. Lee, West Virginia
"He who claims to believe in everything - doesn't believe in anything" - W. Hart, Texas.
"This is a DIY Religion (do-it-yourself). You just pick and choose what you like" - A. Mann, D.C.

So, according to the one who told me all this, it seems to me it is impossible to accept Islam, Christianity or Judaism along with any other religion. Unless of course, someone is making up a new religion and just claiming they have worked it all out and resolved all of these issues.
