Salam alaykum, It is correct to follow science, if the understanding of the word science means = "To examine facts, compare to other existing evidences and then (without prejudice) offer conclusions based on these facts and evidences". You will conclude, this is exactly what the Quran asks us to do. Allah never asks us to be stupid or crazy - only to use our minds and hearts - with solid proof! I realize we have many people attacking us on these points lately, but this is to be expected from the enemies of Allah. May Allah guide them and all of us too, ameen. Yours in Faith, Yusuf Estes

Lol G[censored]e isn't saying anything that anti Islamaphobes have not tried before. They ignorantly [censored]et to mention that how did the Quran fix the problems of the past. Lucky guess? No. It is because they were wrong and obviously Allah (swt) knows exactly how he made things happen. This line of thought has been refuted many times. G[censored]e also doesn't know of the history back then. I refer you to Hamza Tzortzis website, just type his name in google, it will come up. His website has a whole section dedicated to this propagating myth and his extensive debates and articles on how Embryology is in the Quran in all its perfection. SubhanAllah. Among these responses will be a refutation of the ancient Greek (Hellenic) plagiarism thesis. This thesis maintains that Hellenic embryology was the source of the Qur’an’s, and by extension, the Prophet Muhammad’s, medical knowledge. You can downloand the whole book via his site. InshaaAllah. Ill try share the link here if the admins will allow it InshaaAllah, otherwise pls refer to the site as mentioned above download it and read. Because there is no plagiarism. No ifs or buts about it.
The comment by G[censored]e Birbilis seem a little biased to me as it seems to suggest that attributing the miraculous verses of Quran about embryonic development to divine revelation is unwarranted. Why? because according to G[censored]e there was a lot of ancient knowledge similarly wonderful and amazing. This is of course [censored]e to some extent but as Maurcie Bucalle pointed out most of these ancient sources sometimes stumble on the [censored]th but they mix it with other fantastically absurd theory confirming their human fallibility. The Quran on the other hand is totally free from such errors and whatever it describes fully and totally accords with modern science. This is what establishes its divine origin not because it happens to stumble to some [censored]th here and there.

Unfortunately the library of Alexandria was burned down and lots of ancient world knowledge was lost (some of it kept via word of mouth though but its origin is lost). Luckily Arabs kept some of that knowledege and transfered it (via Spain) to the western world (other way of transfer was the Greek Byzantines who fled to Italy after fall of Constantinople to the Othoman empire giving the seeds to the following Renaisance era)
