I was among those who had the pleasure of hearing the arguments yesterday at the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, in the precedent-setting and never-ending (it seems) USA vs. Al-Arian case.

The government is really looking bad!
I was also present on Capitol Hill on March 5th, when the New America Foundation hosted an event featuring Congressmen Keith Ellison (D-MN) and Brian Baird (D-WA), who reported on their trip to the Middle East and called for the immediate opening of the crossings into Gaza. This writer has much RESPECT for the way that America's first Muslim congressman, Keith Ellison, appears to be coming into his own on the truly tough issues of the day! (See report below. See also: my and Ramsy Baroud's statements on Hamas (below). Baroud has provided an excellent analysis on the evolutionary development of the Islamic movement in Occupied Palestine. (I consider his analysis a must read!)
Finally, we provided a link to an AP report on British MP George Galloway's triumphant entry into Gaza with humanitarian relief. Insha'Allah, Galloway is expected to make a guest appearance in the Washington area later this month, at a fundraising dinner for The Muslim Link newspaper. I am also pleased to note that his is one of the strident pro-justice for Palestine voices featured in our latest work,
