"I say potato, you say patatoe - I say tomato, you say tamatoe - I say freedom fighter, you say "Islamic jihadist guerrila terrorist
 . . . It's just words - right?

If a "Muslim" does a suicide attack - it is called "Islamic Jihad"
Hindu woman (Tamil Tigers are Hindus and the Sinhalese are Buddhistsdid it , today - in Sri Lanka, and what is it called? - (Guerrilla Warfare)

Why not "Hinduistic Jihad"? Where is there any mention of religion in these stories? (You won't find it). Tamil Tigers are Hindusfrom the Tamil state on the eastern coast of India and Sinhalese (also spelled Sinhalese) are Buddhists who believe they are the "chosen" to protect their religion in this Island country.

Question: When do Sinhalese rebelsbecome "Buddhist Jihadists"? What would make a "Tamil guerrila" become a "Hindu Tiger Terrorist"? And when do civilians become "suspected terrorist sympathizers"? And who are the real insurgents anyway?
Good questions.

READ - the this story and see how it would look if it was about the same event in GAZA - (remember the keywords): Here are a few keywords to reconsider while reading today's news: rebels (religious extremists?); guerrillas (Hindu militants);combatants (Hindu jihadists); confrontation (Hinduist Jihad); battles (Hinduist terrorism).

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka – Yesterday (Sunday, Feb 8) - a woman (Hindu extremist woman) from the Tamil Tigers (Hinduist Tiger Terrorists), blew up herself and killed 24 others in a suicide bombing (Hinduist suicide mission), in what is being called a "guerilla warfare" (Hinduistic Terrorism?) against . . .

(continued) . . . the people of Sri Lanka. Also labeled as "rebel fighters" (Hindu extremists) and "separatists" (Tamil Tiger Terrorists?), the guerrillas have been engaged in guerrilla warfare (religious terrorist acts?), confrontations (Hinduist suicide bombings - blowing up innocent men, women and children along with killing themselves?) in these attacks (Hindu Jihadist strikes?).

When a group of soldiers were searching civilians running from what is being referred to as the "war zone" in Sri Lanka, the (radical Hinuist) woman blew herself up amongst them, killing herself and 24 others, according to a report from the military.

This is a continuation of suicide attacks occurring in Sir lanka, occurring only weeks apart and it is feared the separatists (could this be another name for Hinduist terrorists?) who are boxed in by the Sri Lankan military and close to being defeated - are going to upgrade their continued guerrilla warfare in their battles (Hinduist Jihad?) against the government military forces.

Following a string of victories, the military backed the rebels (Hinduistic Jihadists) into a small strip of land on the northeastern coast, where the Red Cross estimates 250,000 civilians are also trapped.

(read on - you supply the words you think best fit - if it were Muslims in GAZA):

The military has accused the rebels of holding the civilians as human shields and called for noncombatants to flee to government-controlled areas. The rebels have accused the government of indiscriminately shelling the war zone, leading to increasing civilian casualties.

On Monday morning, more than 800 civilians had crossed the front lines and were being searched by soldiers before being sent to camps farther south, military spokesman Brig. Udaya Nanayakkara said.

When the attacker was frisked, she set off the bomb she was wearing, killing 24 people and injuring 20 others, he said.

"The LTTE is now desperate because they don't have any control over the civilians now," Nanayakkara said, calling the rebels by the initials of their formal name, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. "They wanted to stop these people coming in."

The attack appeared aimed at one of the military's weak points, the processing of the masses of civilians trying to flee the area. It also highlighted concerns that the rebels were trying to blend in with the civilian population, so they can fight on using insurgent tactics.

The military has said the flow of civilians out of the war zone has increased in recent days, with 4,700 fleeing Sunday, bringing the total number of noncombatants to escape the war zone to 20,000 this year, Nanayakkara said.

With most communication to the north severed, the rebels could not be reached for comment.

The rebels have been accused of more than 200 suicide attacks and are listed as a terror group by the United States and the European Union.

The Tamil Tigers have been fighting since 1983 for a separate state for the nation's ethnic Tamil minority after decades of marginalization at the hands of governments controlled by the Sinhalese majority.

More than 70,000 people have been killed in the fighting.

Also Monday, the air force hit a camouflaged building inland where the rebels' sea wing hid its craft, Nanayakkara said. "The place was destroyed," he said.

The military also reported killing 34 rebels who tried to break through the front lines Saturday in an armored truck.
