A Muslim Says: I Met A Christian - then I read the Bible and Now I am Convinced -
Why? How? What is Next?
Read . . .
"I was born Muslim - blindly followed. Jehovah's Witness came to my door with Watch Tower and Bible - TV News said Quran says, "Kill all the kafirs" - did not want a religion of violence and murder - I read the Bible - talked some more and then I became convinced - "

 - ISLAM Is The Truth!

"I was born into a Pakistani family, I was following our religion blindly without understanding why I was doing anything, I was praying and keeping my fasts in Ramadan, I have only just recently in the last 3 years been giving zakat and have always given to the less fortunate. I am really ashamed to say I did not understand the beauty of our religion till very recently.

I started to question my faith when i saw on the news channels that the Quran says to "Kill all the kafirs when you see them" - and I didn't want to be following a religion just simply on the basis of my forefathers.

I needed proof that this was the best religion, around about the same time a Christian preacher came to my door and gave me a magazine called The Watchtower. I read it.

But I wanted to know more about Christianity and the next time the preacher came to the door, I asked her in. I asked her a few questions and I said I wanted a copy of the Bible. Anyway she was kind enough to get me one, as she thought I would convert to Christianity.

I started to read the Bible with the help of your website and Islam research foundation.

Anyway next time she came I was sure the Bible was not the word of God.

I asked her if she would follow a religion which had contradictions in it, she said, "No".

So I pointed out 2 or 3 contradictions and she agreed they were contradictions.

I asked her about the prophecies relating to prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and asked her who were they relating to, and she said it was the Holy Spirit.

I said, "OK". Then I asked her about the prophecy which says, "He will be given the book who is not learned".

I asked her if the Holy Spirit was illiterate.

She said, "No."

I explained it was referring to prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. But she didn't want to know (about this).

I said, "I opened my heart to Christianity." And I asked her to open her heart to the truth (Islam).

Anyway, I printed off all the literature from your website and I asked her to be kind enough to just read it and then make up her own mind.

On the way out, she said she would never come to my way of thinking and she still hadn't given up trying to convert me. And she wanted to bring some preachers to convince me.

I was really shocked at how people are so blinded to the truth.

But I don’t want to offend her, but how do I go about showing her the truth?

This is the first time I have ever done da’wah (calling to Islam) and only after watching Peace TV, did I realize it was obligatory (fardh).

At the moment I feel so emotional and I want everybody to know the truth.

I have also started reading the Holy Quran with the English translation.

I have a really good friend of mine who is Catholic and I really wanted some advise on how to try to convince her to the truth (of Islam). I had been praying for her. She knows I started to question my faith, but as yet she does not know about the Christian preacher I met.

I feel I have gotten so much information from watching Peace TV - (for instance) I watched the program (of the debate) between Dr. William Cambell and Dr. Zakir Naik.

The first time I saw you, you were on the Islam Channel (TV), and our whole family fell in love with you. I have watched you on Peace TV and your presentations are beautiful.

I am really sorry if I have rambled on and please excuse my spelling and grammar mistakes. "
