Where Do Bible & Quran AGREE?

Quran and Biblediffer on some issues - But they have much in common on key issues and teachings.

Here's main points where they agree

Bible Quran

God’s Oneness and Creation

  • Quran: Say, He is Allah, [who is] One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.

ReciteQuran.com/112:1-4)

  • Bible: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.”

Deuteronomy 6:4, KJV

👉 Both affirm one Creator of the heavens and the earth, but Bible changes to Trinity later - Islam rejects this.

Prophets and Messengers

Both scriptures honor many of the same figures:

  • Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Jonah, and others.

  • The Quran says these prophets carry God’s message.

ReciteQuran.com/6:84-90

  • The Bible also presents them as servants of God.

Revelation

  • Both teach God revealed guidance to humanity.

  • Quran: affirms Torah and Gospel as original revelations from Allah, though altered over time.

ReciteQuran.com/5:44

  • Bible: emphasizes the Law and Gospel as divine guidance.

Moral Commands

Many laws overlap:

  • No Partners with God.

  • No Images of God.
  • Don't Use God's Name in vain.
  • Honor parents.
  • Do not kill.

  • Do not steal.

  • Do not commit adultery.

  • Don't envy

Line these up directly with the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20) with repeated orders in the Quran.

The Hereafter

Both affirm:

  • Resurrection after death.

  • Judgment Day.

  • Paradise for the righteous.

  • Punishment for the wicked.

Example:

  • Quran: “Whoever does righteous deeds, male or female, while being a believer – they will enter Paradise.”

ReciteQuran.com/4:124

  • Bible: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

  • Matthew 25:46, KJV

JESUS
(Esa ﷺ)

  • Both say, Jesus was born of a virgin, did miracles, he will be back on eath at the Last Days, and he was a prophet.

  • Difference: Some places in the Bible presents him as divine; the Quran calls him a mighty prophet and servant of Allah

SATAN & SHATAN

  • Both describe Satan as the deceiver who misled Adam and Eve, and tries very hard to deceive us too.

  • Both warn believers against following him.

BIBLE (?)

The Quran and Bible agree on the One Creator, the prophets, revelation, morality, resurrection, and Satan’s deception — but differ in key theological interpretations

Trinity? Jesus’ role? John?
Saul/Paul? Jesus ﷺ?
