Oppressors Are the Oppressed
Allah warns us in the Quran not to accept information blindly:
QURAN
“O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with news, verify it, lest you harm people out of ignorance and become regretful for what you have done.”
This ayah shows how easily false reports can cause injustice. Modern media often plays this role — twisting truth until the oppressors appear as victims and the victims appear as aggressors.
How the Deception Works

Changing Labels – Those who resist oppression are called “terrorists,” while those who invade and kill are called “defenders.”

Hiding Reality – Crimes of the powerful are ignored – but mistakes of the weak are magnified or false.

Reversing Roles – Just as Pharaoh claimed to “protect” his people while enslaving them, today’s tyrants claim to “keep peace” while destroying lives.
Prophetic Guidance
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him, meaning in English) warned us:
“Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or oppressed.”
The companions asked: “We know how to help him if he is being oppressed, but how can we help him if he is an oppressor?”
He ﷺ replied: “Stop him.”
(Sahih Bukhari)
FALSE NEWS FROM BAD PEOPLE?
Allah has ordered us to investigate any news from sinners and the wicked people. Just make sure it is authentic — BEFORE you repeat it and share it with others.
Otherwise, the sinner's words are accepted and many decisions are based on these lies.
If the story is true or not — authorities accept the ways of people who are not trustworthy.
How Does It Affect Islam?
Allah forbids believers to take the way of corrupted people and sinners.
Scholars of narrations (Hadith) do not accept the words of people who are unknown — they may be very bad people.
Decision Of Prophet is Better
Allah said,
﴿وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْأَنَّفِيكُمۡرَسُولَٱللَّهِۚ﴾
49:7. And know among you is the Messenger of Allah. So, honor and respect him, be polite with him and obey his orders.

Cheering for Oppressors!
Real justice is correcting the oppressor – and protecting the oppressed.
The Real Standard
Allah says:
“And do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.”
So no matter what the media repeats, believers must measure truth by the Quran and Sunnah — not by headlines, not by propaganda, not by the claims of tyrants.
Our Responsibility as Muslims
