Strong Dua’s
This collection of the strongest Duas is from Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ and includes "Ism al-Azam" (The Great Name of Allah).
It has Arabic, transliteration, and English meaning.
All short and clear, inshallah.

1. Dua with Surah Al-Ikhlas
__Arabic__
اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألك بأنك أنتَ اللَّهُ، لا إله إلا أنت، الأحدُ الصمدُ، الذي لم يلد ولم يولد، ولم يكن له كفواً أحد
Transliteration:
Allahumma inni as’aluka bi-annaka anta Allah, la ilaha illa anta, al-Ahad, as-Samad, alladhi Lam yalid wa Lam yulad, wa Lam yakun Lahu kufuwan ahad.
Meaning:
“O Allah, I ask You by the fact that You are Allah — there is no god but You, the One, the Self-Sufficient, Who neither begets nor is begotten, and none is equal to Him.”
➡️ Prophet ﷺ said: “He has asked Allah by His Greatest Name, which when He is called by it, He responds.” (Abu Dawud 1493, Tirmidhi 3475)

2. Dua with Al-Hay Al-Qayum
__Arabic__
اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألك بأن لك الحمد، لا إله إلا أنت، المنّان، بديع السماوات والأرض، يا ذا الجلال والإكرام، يا حي يا قيوم
Transliteration:
Allahumma inni as’aluka bi-anna laka al-hamd, la ilaha illa anta, al-Mannan, badi as-samawati wa al-ard, ya Thul-jalali wal-ikram, ya ḥayu ya qayam.
Meaning:
O Allah, I ask You for to You belongs all praise. There is no god but You, the Bestower, the Originator of the heavens and earth, O Lord of Majesty and Honor, O Ever-Living, O Sustainer.
➡️ Prophet ﷺ said: “He has asked Allah by His Greatest Name.” (Ahmad 12536, Ibn Majah 3858)

3. Dua of Anxiety and Distress
__Arabic__
يا حي يا قيوم برحمتك أستغيث، أصلح لي شأني كله ولا تكلني إلى نفسي طرفة عين
Transliteration:
Ya ḥayu ya qayum, birahmatika astaghīth, aslih li sha’ni kullah, wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfata ayn.
Meaning:
O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help. Set all my affairs right, and do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye.
➡️ Imam Al Albani graded it authentic; many scholars say this includes Ism Al-Azam.

4. Dua of Prophet Yunus (in the belly of the whale)
_Arabic_
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إني كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Transliteration:
La ilaha illa anta, subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin.
Meaning:
There is no god but You; Glory be to You. Truly, I was among the wrongdoers.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “No Muslim supplicates with this dua for anything, except Allah responds to him.” [Tirmidhi 3505]

5. Dua Taught to Aisha, radiallhuanha
She asked: “O Messenger of Allah, if I know which night is Laylatul Qadr, what should I say?”
He replied:
_Arabic_
اللَّهُمَّ إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعفُ عني
Transliteration:
Allahumma inaka afuwun tuḥibu al-afwa fafu anni.
Meaning:
O Allah, You are the Pardoning one and You love to pardon, so pardon me.
While short, it begins with Allahumma, which contains the Supreme Name.

— STRONG DUAS —
The strongest duas include Allah’s Greatest Name.
These begin with:
- Allahumma (O Allah),
- Ya Hayu Ya Qayum (O Ever-Living, O Sustainer),
- Affirming Allah’s Oneness (Al-Ahad, As-Samad).
Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ, himself opened doors for us to call upon Allah with certainty of response.
