Jesus in Quran
(Esa, peace be upon him)
-
Born of Mary (Maryam), without a father — a miraculous creation by Allah’s command.
“Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, ‘Be,’ and he was.”
-
A Messenger of Allah — not divine, but chosen to guide Israel with truth.
“The Messiah, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; [other] messengers had passed away before him.”
-
Affirmed the Torah & gave the Gospel — calling people back to worship Allah alone.
“And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Holy Spirit.”
A sign of mercy & nearness to Allah — speaking even in the cradle.
-
“Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.”
YES!
Jesus Loves the Believers

The Quran affirms true believers — those who submit to Allah — are loved, supported, and forgiven.
Jesus (Esa, peace be upon him) always pointed to the One True God and taught love for the righteous.
“Indeed, those who believed and did righteous deeds — the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection.”
This includes believers everywhere — whether in Palestine, America, Africa, or anywhere else.

Hadith Mentioning Jesus
(Esa, peace be upon him)
1. His Return Before the Last Day
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, surely the son of Mary (ʿĪsā) will soon descend among you and will judge between people with justice. He will break the cross, kill the swine, and abolish the jizyah. Wealth will become so abundant that no one will accept it, and a single prostration will be better than the world and everything in it.”
— (Sahih al-Bukhari 3448, Sahih Muslim 155)
2. Unity of Faith
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.”
— (Sahih al-Bukhari 3443, Sahih Muslim 2365)
3. His Miraculous Birth and Protection from Shaytan
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“No child is born but that Shaytan touches it, and the child cries because of that touch, except for Maryam and her son.”
— (Sahih al-Bukhari 3431, Sahih Muslim 2366)
4. Jesus Will Be a Witness on the Day of Judgment
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ recited the verse from the Quran (5:116) and explained, "Jesus will testify truthfully before Allah . ."
“Then Allah will say, ‘O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you say to the people: Take me and my mother as gods besides Allah?’ He will say, ‘Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right to say…’”
— (Sahih al-Bukhari 3445, Sahih Muslim 65)
