What About - 'No Fasting on EID'?

Muslims told us to fast the 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah
But what about EID? They said, "No fasting on Eid!"

I learned, the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah was the same value of all the other 9 days. So, if you fasted the 1st through the 9th, do you get the rewards of all the days fasting?

Hadith on Dhul-Hijjah: No better time for good deeds than these ten days (or 9 days)?

NINE DAYS of Fasting - TEN DAYS of REWARDS *(Like no other rewards)
The month of Dhul Hijjah has TEN *(10) DAYS of REWARDS ~ Like no other days of the entire year.

Someone asked about this contradicting the "Last Ten in Ramadan"...

1st 9 days
The LAST 10 NIGHTS of Ramadan does not contridict 10 Days of Dhul Hijjah.
In the Muslim month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims are encouraged to fast during the first nine days, with the ninth day (Day of Arafah) being especially emphasized.

If you can only do one day, make it the Day of Arafah, if you can.
Fasting on these days, especially the 9th, is a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and brings great rewards.

However, fasting is prohibited (Haram) on the tenth day of Dhul Hijjah, which is Eid al-Adha, a day of celebration and feasting.

Key points:
  • 9th Day (Arafah): Fasting on this day is highly recommended and expiates sins for two years.
  • 10th Day (Eid al-Adha): Fasting is prohibited on this day, as it's a celebration of sacrifice.
  • First 9 Days: Fasting on the first nine days is a Sunnah (practice of the Prophet) and brings rewards.
  • Importance of Arafah: The day of Arafah, the ninth day, is considered a very important day for Muslims, especially for those on the Hajj pilgrimage.
