The LAST & FINAL TESTAMET -  Arabic: القرآن الكريم (Al Quran Al Kareem) Was recite to Muhammad, the prophet, by Angel Gabriel in the Holy month of Ramadan. 

For the record, the first word recited to Muhammad, the prophet was: إقرأ coming from the same exact root in Arabic as the word "Quran": It means, "That which is recited" (not "read"). 

Al Quran is for all the people of Islam (surrender, submit, obey,sincerely and in peace) to read and learn about themselves and the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. 

It has been translated into many languages, including English (of course) to make its message accessible to a wider audience. These translations are considered interpretations, not replacements, of Quran old stylethe original Arabictext. While some translations aim for a more literal rendering, others prioritize clarity and readability in the target language.
