What our children learn (you did too?) . .

Newtons bump

"Everyone knows . .

'Sir Isaac Newton discovered gravity after an apple fell and him in the head'."

And this "official story is . . "  WRONG

  • 🍎 When Did Newton 'Discover' Gravity?

Sir Isaac Newton first had ideas about 'gravity' in 1665, during the Great Plague of London. He was just in his early 20s and had returned home from university when the idea "struck" him — quite literally, in the story.

He published his, "Law of Universal Gravitation" later in 1687 in his book: Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica
(“Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy”)

âť“ Did an Apple Really Fall on His Head?

NOPE. The famous apple story is a legend not a fact - but there's more, much more . . keep reading.

Here’s what we know: Newton, himself told his friends, "Seeing an apple fall made me think about things always falling straight down“I wondered about the same force pulling apples down, might be keeping the moon in orbit around the earth?"

But 700 years (long before Newton's story of the apple), MUSLIM SCHOLARS, like Al-Biruni, Al-Khazini, & Ibn Sina already knew about force, attraction, and weight — centuries before Newton was even born.

Who really is really on Record for "Discovering Gravity"?

âś… The FIRST BOOK ON IT: Al-Khazini (1121 CE) Book: "Kitab Mizan al-Hikmah" (Book of the Balance of Wisdom)

800 900 discoveries đź”Ž What Did Al-Khazini Do and record?

  • He explored why objects fall downward.

  • Described how weight varies with distance from the center of the Earth — a clear notion of gravitational force.

  • He said the “tendency of bodies toward the center” of Earth was a natural principle.

  • Proposed that this force could change with altitude and composition — getting closer to what we now call gravitational variation.

🧠 Earlier - BEFORE Al-Khazini?

  • Al-Biruni (973–1048) Actually, he was first to write about the center of gravity and weight measurement.

  • Ibn Sina (980–1037) discussed force and motion — concepts required to understand gravity.

Al-Khazini was first to write, a systematic explanation of the theory of gravity.

🕊️ The REAL TRUTH IN QURAN says:

“It is Allah Who holds the heavens and the earth from vanishing.”
(Surah Fatir ReciteQuran.com/35:41)

So even though man “discovered” what we call gravity, it’s really Allah’s constant Will and design keeping everything in place.
