Jesus Did He Say He is God?
Not in BIBLE nor QURAN?
~ Paul said, "I am dead to the 'Law' and the 'Law' is dead to me." ~
1) Jesus is (Son of Mary), عليه السلام
2) He came to confirm the Law (Torah)
3) 📖 Bible (Matthew) 5:17-19
Quran honors him, miracles, and his birth.
He is always Messenger of GOD and Servant, but never God.
📖 Quran (As-Saff) 61:6
“And [remember] when Jesus, son of Mary, said: ‘O Children of Israel, I am the messenger of Allah to you, confirming what was before me of the Torah…’”
📖 Quran (Al Imran) 3:45
“O Mary, indeed Allah gives you glad tidings of a Word from Him — his name is Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary — honored in this world and the Hereafter and among those nearest [to Allah].”
📖 Quran (An Nisa) 4:171
“The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, is no more than a Messenger of Allah and His word... so believe in Allah and His messengers. Do not say 'Three'. Stop — it is better for you. Allah is only One God. Glory be to Him — far above having a son.”
2. Quran warns against making Jesus a God!
Crystal clear:
📖 Quran (Al Ma'idah) 5:72
“They have certainly disbelieved who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary.’ The Messiah said, ‘O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.’"
Jesus said, "Worship God" - not him.
3. Jesus came to confirm the Law (Torah)
📖 Quran (As-Saff) 61:6
“And [remember] when Jesus, son of Mary, said: ‘O Children of Israel, I am the messenger of Allah to you, confirming what was before me of the Torah…’”
📖 Bible (Matthew) 5:17-19
Just like in Matthew 5:17-19, Jesus confirms the Law, not cancels it.
4. Saul/Paul said he was a LIAR (Romans 3:7)
. . and Paul did the Opposite:
📖 Bible (Romans) 7:6
Saul / Paul:
- Paul called the Law a “CURSE” - Bible (Galatians 3:13)
- He said believers are “free from the Law” - Bible (Romans 7:6)
- He preached “faith alone” (not law nor deeds) for salvation! Bible (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Jesus NEVER said this, in Quran nor Bible.
5. Quran guides to a pure message of all prophets
📖 Quran Ash-Shura (42:13)
“He has ordained for you the same religion that He enjoined upon Noah — and We revealed to you [Muhammad] — and what We enjoined upon Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: saying: ‘Establish the 'Way of life' (religion) and do not be divided therein.’”
The message of Oneness (Tawheed) never changed.
