There is always 'Hope', yet at the same time, we must make dua for these people and ask for them and their families to be patient, dedicated and still willing to follow the excellent charcter of our prophet, peace upon him. His teachings are the example for us and we always refer to the incidents where others were torturing him, insulting him, hurting him and yet, he only prayed for them without retaliation.
