Cairo: Al-Qaeda Chief, Ayman al-Zawahiri, has called for not stopping protests against the disgusting anti-Islam film and for more protests outside US embassies around the world as he has termed the pathetic film is waging a “crusader Zionist war” against the Muslims.

In a recorded message, Zawahiri has encouraged the Muslims to carry out more protests targeting US embassies all over the world and severely criticized the anti-Islam film as it is equal to Zionist war being waged against the Muslims.

Like in other messages released by al Qaeda’s Yemeni and North African branches last month, Zawahiri praised last month’s assault on the US consulate in Benghazi that killed four diplomats.

In the recording, posted online on Friday, he called on “free and distinguished zealots for Islam” who attacked the consulate and protested outside other American embassies to “continue their opposition to American crusader Zionist aggression against Islam and Muslims.”

The recording appeared on the Mujahedin al-Ansar website which carries statements from Al-Qaeda leaders.

Zawahiri said that US authorities “permitted the film in the name of personal freedom and freedom of expression” but failed to practice those values in its treatment of Muslims imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay, Iraq and Afghanistan.

US President Barack Obama’s administration condemned the short film, made privately and amateurishly in California, as reprehensible but said that it could not be banned without violating the US constitutional right to free speech.

The Guantanamo detention camp was set up after the September 11, 2001 attacks to hold non-American captives suspected of involvement with Al-Qaeda, the Taliban or other militant groups. Of the 779 men who were held there, 167 remain.

Zawahiri, an Egyptian-born preacher who became Al-Qaeda’s chief after the death of Osama bin Laden last year, also criticized Obama after his Democratic Party pledged at its pre-election convention to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

He said that decision and Obama’s prayers at Jerusalem’s Western Wall, made during a 2008 visit, showed Muslims faced a “crusader Zionist war” led by the United States.

In September Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), the group’s North African affiliate, praised the Benghazi attack and urged Muslims to kill more US envoys.

Earlier last month, Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), its Yemeni wing, called for more protests and said that the Benghazi attackers had been partly motivated by the death of an AQAP leader in a US drone strike

OK. You read what AlQaeda says. What do you think?

Now it's your turn. Should Muslims continue screaming angry slogans, waving signs, burning flags and threatening anyone labled as "infidel" everywhere around the world?

Is this the best way for us to show true Islam? Can we do something better? Would our prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, scream for protesting, mayhem and violence against those "infidels"?

Or would he council his followers to find a more suitable way to communicate the message of true Islam so these people would understand the reason Muslims are so dedicated to preserving true peaceful acceptance of the Will of God on earth (ISLAM)?

And aren't we just playing right into the hands of those politicians and preachers who claim Islam is all about violence and terrorism? Do we see this is exactly what some folks want us to do? Are we just convincing people there is no hope to communicate with Muslims in today's world?

If you don't speak up - You are not part of the solution

Yusuf Estes says - Salam alaykum (peace be to all), what is the matter with us, brothers and sisters? Do we really want to scare people further away from Islam? And the message of true peace in submission to God? Look to what some Buddhists are doing to Muslims in Burma right now. No one will challenge them because we are making Islam look so scary to everyone.
