The state-run news agency WAM declared Sheik Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan dead on Tuesday, five days after his glider crashed into a lake outside of Moroccan capital Rabat.

Sheik Ahmed was a brother of the UAE president and the managing director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, one of world's largest sovereign wealth funds.
