Gospels Say Jesus Crucified BEFORE or AFTER Passover?

This email came to us from our brother Ousman. He is asking us:

Could you add this contradiction in the New Testament Bible to your links? -

http://www.bibleislam.com/bible_contradictions.php
http://www.islamcode.com/bible/bible_closer_look_ch2.html

The contradiction in Bible is as follows:

Was Jesus crucified a day before the passover meal was eaten (Wednesday), or the day after the passover meal (Friday)?
  • The day before the passover meal was eaten: Mark 14:12, Mark 15:25.
  • No, the day before it was eaten (John 19:14).
As we know, you cannot die both times. Consequently, the whole crucifixion story results in various other hidden
contradictions:
  • what Jesus said on cross in John's and Mark's Gospels could not both have occurred at the same time;
  • the actions which took place during crucifixion in John's and Mark's Gospels, could not have occurred at the same time;
  • the alleged resurrection of Jesus (according to Bible) could not have taken place on the same day, since the alleged crucifixion of the Jesus occurred on different days.
Professor Bart D. Ehrman emphasizes in his book: "Jesus interrupted, chapter 2, page 26-27" (download here) that this contradiction cannot be reconciled, due to the fact that all 3 synoptic Gospels (Mark, Matthew and Luke) portray Jesus being crucified a day after passover meal has been eaten.

In contrast, John places it a day before the passover meal was eaten, because it was the traditions back then to sacrifice the lamb the day before passover meal, in order to get eat the passover meal on Thursday. The author of John looked at this, and tried to prove a theological point that Jesus (pbuh) would be the "sacrificed lamb," for all of us, thus he put his crucifixion a day before the passover meal was eaten.

In trying to prove a theological point, the author of John made a massive blunder which completely contradicts the previous 3 Gospels. Moreover, John's Gospel is the least authentic Gospel, because it was the one written the last out of the 4.

In combination, all of this shows this contradiction cannot be reconciled, and that Bible is not fully God's word.

Please add that to your site, to once against show us that the Quran is right when it states they tampered with they're scripures.

Quran 2:79: Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say:"This is from God," to traffic with it for miserable price!- Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby.

It is a pleasure to finally talk to you Sheikh Yusf Estes, since I saw you on TV a lot.
Jazakallah khair was salam alaykum,
Brother Ousman
