Bismillah Rahman Raheem Your Question : Mr. Yusuf, Thank you for answering my email. I read your story and it was really incredible.
I have been reading about Islam for months now but never really considering anything until recently. The only reason I started reading about it in the first place was because I needed all the information I could get in order to help 'save' all the Muslims I could. But after a while a lot of the things I read made a lot of sense.
I could go through the list of problems about Christianity but, of course, you already know these. At fist the thought that my faith could be wrong was scary. I didn't want to believe that my whole family and all my friends were living a life of lies. I didn't want to have to change my life. So I ran. I didn't read or think about Islam for a long time. But soon it was impossible to do so. These thoughts consumed be and convicted me.
So I started praying for God, the God who made me, to guide me. The truth became more evident but I was still hesitant to accept it. That's when I emailed you.
I read your story and hit me so hard. My childhood was a lot like yours. I've grown up in Arkansas where all Muslims are thought of as evil terrorists who hate Christians. So naturally I went along with it.
I've always wanted to be a missionary and my favorite topic has always been religion. It never occurred to me that I might be wrong and those Muslims in the East right.
But after reading your story I felt like I had finally found the truth. It's a lot to take in. I don't know what I'm going to say to my parents and friends.
There aren't any Muslims at my school so I have no allay. The fear of persecution would be unbearable if I didn't have hope that I would be rewarded one day. I'm not sure what I should do now. Since you've been in a similar situation perhaps you could advise me. Brooke Baker Answer:
Your letter has the key to the whole solution. You mentioned the one thing that we always notice people doing who come to Islam (including myself) - you said you prayed directly to God for guidance. You see there is no guidance accept from Almighty God Himself. And if a person is sincere and they ask Almighty God (Allah), there is no doubt except that Allah will guide them to His Way (Islam).

http://islamtomorrow.com/Live/ Before we begin, it is important to begin with the name of Allah and send the prayers and blessings on His last prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him. (Bismillah Rahman Raheem, was salat was salam ala rasoolulah). Then it is equally important to mention that it is only Allah who has all Knowledge. (Allahu 'Alim). Thank you for your interest in Islam and the Muslims. It is our duty and privilege to present the truth and proof about Islam and what it represents. We desire to clear up misconceptions and misunderstandings about Islam to help others see the true message that came with all of the prophets from Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace be upon them all. The message is "Laa elaha illa lah" (none has the right to be worshipped except Allah). FREE QURAN to download:
