Both of these questions are related to the sect of Islam referred to as 'Shiite'.
. Answer: Bismillah Rahman Raheem, was salat was salam ala rasool al kareem. Allahu 'Alim.
The best way to answer these questions is to keep in mind, Muslims only follow "Islam." And Islam is based only on the teachings of Allah in His Book, the Quran and the understanding and explanations of His messenger Muhammad, peace be upon him.
Question #1 Zawaj al Mutah - (marriage of pleasure) this was practiced by the companions themselves with the approval of the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, UNTIL the battle of khaibar. After that it was forbidden.
The resources on this are based on the hadeeth narrated by Ali, may Allah have Mercy on him, listed in Saheeh Al Bukhari.
Question #2 Allah tells us in the Quran, no one can take the sins of someone else. Look to the end of surah Baqarah, verses 285 and 286. (No one can take the burden of someone else)
This is not clear thinking to consider Allah would be so unfair as to make innocent people suffer for what the guilty have done. Instead, Allah simply forgives what He wills and allows some of our sins to be forgiven without suffering and pain. And that is one of the reasons He is "Al Rahman, Al Raheem, Al Ghaffur, Al Latif, Al Adil."
After all, the Christians want their sins taken away and given to Jesus, peace be upon him. And the Shiites want to take the sins of their righteous people by beating themselves and this just does not make any sense, does it?
The prophet, peace be upon him, did not allow his companions to ever hurt themselves or anyone else for any occasions such as these.
Before we begin, it is important to begin with the name of Allah and send the prayers and blessings on His last prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him. (Bismillah Rahman Raheem, was salat was salam ala rasoolulah). Then it is equally important to mention that it is only Allah who has all Knowledge. (Allahu 'Alim).

We desire to clear up misconceptions and misunderstandings about Islam to help others see the true message that came with all of the prophets from Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace be upon them all.
