Contradictions in Advice?
Make Up Your Mind!
Have you heard this one?
"Haste makes waste!" Or is it . . "He who hesitates is lost!" (these are opposite). How can we accept such teachings at the same time?
All to often we, as Muslims, have a tendency to accept sayings and teachings coming outside of our faith and belief system called Islam."

Bismillaah
As Salaamu 'alaykum and Peace to all,
Last Sunday, I spent my evening watching Formula 1 Car Racing. The race was
full of suspense, and to my disappointment, my favourite team did not make it
to the podium, again. Ahh, well, there will be another race next week in Monaco,
I hope! Maybe, my team will win. Insya'Allaah.

End It With A Bang!
Bismillaah As Salaamu 'alaykum and Peace to all,
That day I called a friend of mine, asking if she wanted to have coffee with me that evening. She said she could meet up with me tomorrow, InshaAllaah and that she had to finish off a project due in 15 hours!
She said that just 15 hours earlier, her  professor emailed her to inform of the probable grade she would get for his subject. She was just about 20 points short of getting an A, which is a 4.0 GPA. And she has a good chance for an A considering that she has yet to submit a project worth 30%. Since the deadline for the project is not over yet, the professor reminded her that if she decided to just pass the paper, which she has definitely achieved that, she could just forget about the project. However, if she wanted a better grade, she should make sure that the project is submitted on time.

The Story of The Man
and His Damp Bed
I was with my group of friends at a coffee place, happily
chatting when suddenly one of them developed an excruciating pain in her tummy.
The pain was so intense for my friend that we had to bring her to the nearest clinic
immediately. She was limping, her hands pressed against her abdomen and she was
shedding some tears. We tried to hold her steady while she made her way to the
doctor’s office.
